The management of Al-Qadisiyah Club in Saudi Arabia has completed the contract procedures with Moroccan left-back Sofiane El Karouani (25 years old), coming from Dutch club Utrecht, with a contract that extends until the summer of 2029, as part of the team's reinforcements for the first football team in preparation for the new sports season.
According to a statement from the Saudi team, the signing of El Karouani comes after the impressive levels he showcased in the Dutch leagues, where he emerged as one of the top left-backs thanks to his offensive capabilities and direct contributions to creating and scoring goals.
During his career with Utrecht, El Karouani played 292 matches in various competitions, during which he managed to score 15 goals and provide 44 assists, confirming his impactful presence on both offensive and defensive fronts.
The statement emphasized that these numbers reflect the technical value that the player will add to the ranks of the Knights' squad, given his technical quality and competitive experience gained from his continuous participation in the Dutch league.
