The Al-Jawani team trains Olympique Safi.
The Olympic Safi Football Club officially announced its contract with national coach Munir Al-Jaouani to take over the first team coaching position until the end of the current sports season, succeeding Tunisian coach Shukri Al-Khatwi.
The club clarified, in a statement, that Al-Jaouani will lead the team with the assistance of Rashid Bourwas; while Ayoub Lama will take on the role of goalkeeper coach, and the physical preparation task has been assigned to Samir Al-Wardighi.
The Safi club welcomed its new coach through a brief post that read: "Welcome among the sharks."
The appointment of Al-Jaouani comes just hours after Olympic Safi announced the mutual termination of its relationship with Tunisian coach Shukri Al-Khatwi, putting an end to his duties at the helm of the team's technical staff, following the defeat he suffered against Morocco Fassi with a score of two goals to one, in the 22nd round of the professional league.
Al-Khatwi had taken over the coaching of Olympic Safi during the current football season, succeeding Zakaria Aboub, before his experience with the team ended due to a decline in results and failure to achieve the goals set by the club's management.
