An official apology from the Kurds and Kofi to Al-Fath.
The goalkeeper Ayoub Lakrd and player Salah Eddine Koufi officially apologized to all components of the Ittihad Al-Fath Sports Club, following the incident that occurred during the team's match against the Royal Army in the professional league competition.
Al-Fath Sports Club clarified in an official statement that the players expressed their regret for their actions during the match, confirming that the incident remains exceptional and isolated, resulting from an emotional reaction imposed by the competitive atmosphere and the pressure accompanying the game.
Lakrd and Koufi emphasized, according to the same statement, that what happened does not reflect the nature of the relationship prevailing within the group, which is based on harmony and mutual respect among the various components of the team, including players, technical and medical staff, and administration.
The players also announced their full acceptance of any decision that the club's disciplinary council may take against them, affirming their respect for the institution and its laws, and acknowledging the mistake made in a moment of fleeting emotion.
This apology comes as part of the management's commitment to instilling values of discipline and sportsmanship within the team, and to maintaining the positive atmosphere that characterizes its components.
