The Moroccan national team delegation left the homeland today, Wednesday, heading to the United States via a direct flight that departed from Rabat-Salé Airport, to participate in the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
The "Atlas Lions" will enter directly into their training preparations upon arrival at their accommodation, as the technical staff has prepared an intensive training program aimed at enhancing the players' physical and tactical readiness before embarking on the global competition.
The national team is also expected to play a friendly match against the Norway national team next Sunday, in an important test to assess the readiness of the national players before the kickoff.
The draw for the World Cup finals placed the Moroccan team in a strong group that includes Brazil, Scotland, and Haiti, indicating a fierce competition for the qualification spots to the next round.
