Ticket prices anger Raja fans.
The new prices for tickets to the match between Raja Casablanca and RS Berkane, scheduled for next Wednesday as part of the 22nd round of the professional league, have caused a wave of dissatisfaction and anger among the "green" club's fans. They considered the move excessive and not taking into account the current circumstances and the social status of a large segment of the team's supporters, who belong to the working and middle classes.
The Raja administration, led by Jawad Ziyat, has approved varying increases across different categories, with the price of regular tickets rising from 60 to 70 dirhams, while tickets in the 120 dirham category saw a significant jump to reach 200 dirhams, up to the official platform categories set at 400, 1400, and 1800 dirhams. This came as an unpleasant surprise for the fans ahead of this anticipated match.
The social media platforms of the "green" team were flooded with angry posts from fans who directly criticized the decision, asserting that these unjustified increases could deprive a large number of supporters from traveling and cheering from the stands. They held the club's management fully responsible for the consequences of this decision, which tightens the budget constraints on the ordinary fan.
