"FIFA" determines Morocco's participation in the World Cup.
The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has revealed the accommodation and training bases for the teams participating in the 2026 World Cup, which is set to take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. In this regard, the Moroccan national team has chosen to settle in the New York-New Jersey area during its participation in the global event.
An official statement from FIFA confirmed that the Moroccan national team's delegation will make the "The Pingry School" in New York-New Jersey their base for accommodation and training during the group stage.
The same source clarified that the accommodation bases will turn into a "second home" for the teams, as they will provide the technical, medical, and logistical conditions for the players and technical staff, with training centers close to the accommodation to minimize travel and ensure optimal physical readiness.
Most Arab teams have chosen to settle in the United States, with the Algerian team settling in Kansas City and Egypt in Spokane.
Iraq has chosen the Greenbrier County in Virginia, while Saudi Arabia will land in Austin, Texas, alongside Jordan, which will settle in Portland, Oregon, and Qatar in Santa Barbara, California; while the Tunisian team will settle in Monterrey, Mexico.
It is worth noting that Morocco will begin its journey in the tournament on June 13 at 6 PM local time (11:00 PM Moroccan time), facing Brazil in the first round at the New York-New Jersey stadium, in one of the most prominent matches of the group stage. They will also face Scotland on June 19 at the same time in Boston.
The conclusion of the group stage will be on June 24 at 6 PM as well (11:00 PM Moroccan time), when the national team will face the Haitian team at the Atlanta stadium.
