The army won the King's Cup in handball.
The Royal Army handball team was crowned the winner of the Throne Cup after a thrilling victory over their counterpart, Al-Hilal Al-Nador, last night, Monday, at the covered hall of the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca, with a score of 31-25 in the final match of the competition.
The match witnessed a significant tactical and physical rivalry between the two sides, as the Nador team entered the game bolstered by high-caliber foreign players; however, the determination of the Royal Army was stronger on the field, allowing the capital team to dominate the flow of the game, thanks to strict tactical discipline and high fighting spirit throughout the minutes of the match.
National coach Issam Harith emerged as the chief architect of this historic victory, having managed the match with high tactical efficiency; he succeeded in neutralizing the movements of Al-Hilal Al-Nador's professionals and reading their strategies accurately, relying on a strong defensive system and quick counterattacks that led the "soldiers" to finish the match with a relatively comfortable margin.
