Ayoub Bouaddi, the new arrival to the Moroccan national football team, expressed his great happiness at wearing the "Atlas Lions" jersey, confirming that his choice to represent Morocco was the right decision, after receiving a warm welcome within the national group during the training camp held at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in preparation for the 2026 World Cup.
In statements to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation channel, on the sidelines of the third day of the training camp, Bouaddi said: "The coach and the president told me from the beginning that choosing Morocco was the right decision. Reality has confirmed that to me, as I received a wonderful reception since my arrival."
The new addition to the "Atlas Lions" team added: "Everything here is perfect... the infrastructure is of a very high level, and the atmosphere within the team is excellent, and I am very proud of this choice."
The French Lille player expressed his great admiration for the resources provided by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, noting that the Mohammed VI Complex located in the outskirts of Salé "has facilities among the best in the world."
Bouaddi also praised the quality of the players within the national team, saying: "Everyone knows the value of this group; there are very great players, and I hope we achieve beautiful things in the future."
The guest of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation channel confirmed that the current atmosphere within the camp is very positive, pointing out that the harmony and understanding among the players are going well; this could reflect on the team's performance in the upcoming competitions.
The new arrival to the Moroccan national football team also sent a message to the Moroccan fans, saying: "I thank the Moroccan people for this warm welcome, and I hope we accomplish wonderful things together."
For his part, Soufiane Benjdida confirmed that the atmosphere within the "Atlas Lions" camp is ideal, adding: "The group is wonderful, and the atmosphere is brotherly among all the players," highlighting: "It is a great honor for me to wear the Moroccan national team jersey."
He added: "I will sacrifice everything to be at the required level and secure my place within the group, and even if I am not called up to the final list, I will continue to support and encourage my teammates until the last minute of the World Cup competitions."
Today, the national team held a new training session at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, lasting about an hour and a half, during which national coach Mohamed Wahbi focused on technical and tactical aspects, as well as enhancing harmony among the players, with this training camp set to continue until May 26, the date of a closed friendly match before the official announcement of the final list participating in the 2026 World Cup.
