Tension inside "Pyramids" due to the Shebi.
A special source within Pyramids Club confirmed the disagreement between the club's officials and Croatian coach Krunoslav Jurčić regarding the Moroccan international Mohamed El-Shaybi, the team's right-back.
The source highlighted to "Al-Masry Al-Youm" that Pyramids officials are currently seeking to renew Jurčić's contract after it expires at the end of the current season, and indeed, a meeting took place in the past few days to gauge the situation.
He emphasized that the coach did not object but set several preliminary conditions for renewing his contract, including the departure of a significant number of players, most notably the Moroccan Mohamed El-Shaybi.
He stressed that the reason for the coach's request is his repeated conflicts with the player during the current season, both on the field and in training, as the coach believes that he does not adhere to the instructions as they are.
He concluded: "Pyramids officials expressed their disapproval of the coach's request, especially since El-Shaybi is one of the standout players in the team and in the Egyptian and African leagues, but so far, there has been no response to his renewal requests."
