Officially.. "The Cubs" to the Youth World Cup
The Moroccan national team for under 17 years has officially qualified for the World Cup finals for youth "Qatar 2026," after winning this evening against the Egyptian team with a score of two goals to one, in the match that took place at the Mohammed VI Football Complex.
Ten African teams qualify for the global event, including 8 teams that qualify directly, while the teams that finish in third place play playoff matches to determine the remaining qualifiers.
The Moroccan team topped Group A with 7 points, while the Egyptian team came in second place with 4 points, and the Ethiopian team occupied third place with 4 points, while Tunisia finished last with 1 point.
It is worth mentioning that the Moroccan under 17 team will face the Cameroon team in the quarter-finals, which finished second in Group B behind the leader, the Ivory Coast team.
