Arsenal was crowned the Premier League champion on Tuesday for the first time in 22 years, after Manchester City fell into the trap of a draw against their host Bournemouth in the penultimate 37th round.
The team coached by Spanish manager Pep Guardiola needed to win against Bournemouth to keep their title hopes alive, but they failed to do so, officially handing the title to Arsenal before the final round.
