The Moroccan national team for under 17 years finished its preparations today, Monday, for the anticipated match against the Egyptian national team for under 17 years, scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, as part of the third and final round of the group stage of the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations, which is being hosted by the Kingdom of Morocco until June 2nd.
The "Atlas Cubs" held their last training session at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, under the supervision of coach Thiago Lima Pereira, who focused on final technical and tactical touches, aiming to optimally prepare the team before the decisive match against the Egyptian team.
The training session saw the presence of all the summoned players, in an atmosphere marked by seriousness and focus, and the first fifteen minutes were opened to accredited media, in accordance with the regulations of the African Football Confederation.
In the same context, Adnan Boujoufi, a player of the national team, confirmed in a statement to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation's channel on YouTube, the readiness of the national players to play the match, emphasizing the group's desire to achieve a new positive result, after the team successfully collected all points in the last match.
Boujoufi stated that the players prepared well for the upcoming match, adding that focus is strong within the group, and the ambition remains to achieve victory and seize the top spot in the group, to continue the continental journey with greater confidence.
For his part, Rami Loukmani considered that the victory over Ethiopia in the previous match was a motivation for the group, which gave the players greater confidence for a better performance in the upcoming match against Egypt; confirming that the focus is on winning and maintaining the lead.
It is worth noting that the Moroccan team leads its group with four points after drawing with Tunisia and winning against Ethiopia, while facing Egypt tomorrow, Tuesday, starting at 8 PM at the Mohammed VI Complex in Salé.
