Adli: Playing in the "World Cup" is a dream.
Moroccan international Amine Adli, a player for Bournemouth in the English Premier League, confirmed that participating with the Moroccan national team in the upcoming World Cup remains a "big dream" for him, while also noting that his ambitions do not stop there; they also extend to leading his team towards qualifying for the Champions League.
Adli explained in an interview with French channel "RMC" that he is eagerly awaiting the announcement of the Moroccan national team list for the "World Cup," stating that any player dreams of participating in this global competition, especially given the status that the "Atlas Lions" have achieved after their historic accomplishment in the "Qatar World Cup."
The Moroccan forward added that the national team has gained great respect on the international stage, thanks to the results it has achieved in recent years, affirming that the current group is capable of delivering a great tournament despite the strong competition expected.
Regarding his season with Bournemouth, Adli emphasized that the team is experiencing a remarkable period in the Premier League, having come close to securing a historic European participation for the first time in the club's history, highlighting that the dream of the Champions League has become a goal for all team members just two matches before the end of the season.
The former Bayer Leverkusen player pointed out that the positive results the team achieved in 2026 came thanks to collective work and the attacking style adopted by Spanish coach Andoni Iraola, confirming that Bournemouth has a "fighting" group that is not afraid to face the top teams in the Premier League.
Adli admitted that his start in the English league was not easy, especially after returning from a serious injury last season; however, he confirmed that his level has improved significantly during the second half of the season, as he adapted more to the pace of play in England.
The Moroccan international also spoke about his preferred position on the field, explaining that he feels more comfortable playing in the center behind the striker, rather than as a classic winger; he prefers to move freely and participate more in playmaking.
