Al-Mansour and Meknes excel in the cup.
The Union of Yaacoub Mansour team secured its place in the Round of 16 of the Throne Cup after defeating its guest, Maghreb Fez, with a single goal, in the match that took place today, Sunday, at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat, as part of the Round of 32.
The winning goal for the home team came in the 32nd minute of the first half, when the ball found its way into the Maghreb Fez net via an own goal by defender Saad Ait Kharsa, allowing Union of Yaacoub Mansour to set up a meeting in the next round with Olympique Safi, who also advanced at the expense of Olympique Dcheira with a clean three-goal victory.
In another match for the same round, the Meknes club managed to snatch a ticket to the next round after overcoming the challenge of its guest, Chabab Atlas Khénifra, with a score of two goals to none, in the match held at the Honorary Stadium in Meknes.
The "KODIM" opened the scoring in the first half through player Mustafa Sahd in the 34th minute, before his teammate Zouhair Al-Dib secured the victory and qualification by adding the second goal in the 84th minute of the match.
