The Royal Moroccan Football Federation announced this Friday evening that player Ayoub Bouaddi, midfielder for the French team Lille, is now eligible to represent the Moroccan national team in various international competitions.
The federation clarified in a statement published on its official website that it received today the decision from the Player's Status Chamber of the Football Court of the International Football Federation (FIFA) issued on May 15, 2026, "which accepted the request of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation regarding the change of sports nationality for Ayoub Bouaddi, player of the French team Lille, making him officially and immediately eligible to represent the Moroccan national team in various international competitions."
