"Fatal Tigers" protests against the travel ban.
The "Fatal Tigers" faction, supporting the FUS of Fes football team, issued a statement condemning the decision to prevent "Masawiya" fans from attending their team's match against the Yaqub Al-Mansour team in the Throne Cup, considering that this step undermines the principle of equal opportunities and the spirit of competition.
The faction confirmed in the statement that the Throne Cup has remained over the years "a symbol of equality among competitors," whether on the pitch or in terms of fan attendance, emphasizing that depriving "MAS" fans of traveling to support their team "strikes at the core of one of the main foundations on which this historic competition was built."
"Fatal Tigers" considered that the absence of Masawiya fans from the match raises questions about the extent to which the principle of sports justice is respected, adding that fans are "an essential part of the game" and that their exclusion "damages the image of the competition and empties it of one of its most important symbolic meanings."
The faction criticized what it described as "selectivity" in dealing with certain organizational decisions, pointing out that applying the laws "flexibly to some and strictly to others" is a "dangerous slip" that affects the trust of fans in the football system.
The statement emphasized that the FUS of Fes fans "do not demand exceptional treatment," but rather insist on their legitimate right to support their team, rejecting the idea that such decisions should become "a rule subject to the logic of improvisation or narrow calculations."
The faction concluded its statement by affirming that the presence of fans at Throne Cup matches "is a right guaranteed by the customs and traditions of Moroccan football," expressing its rejection of the decision to prevent travel.
