Rahimi is among the all-time top scorers of Al Ain.
Moroccan international Sofiane Rahimi continues to shine in the Al Ain jersey, having climbed to seventh place in the club's all-time top scorers list in the UAE league, following the brace he scored in the overwhelming victory over Al Dhafra with five goals to nil, in the penultimate round of the competition.
Rahimi has raised his tally to 46 goals in the UAE Pro League since joining "The Boss" in 2021, surpassing both Omar Abdulrahman, known as "Amoory," and Saif Sultan, confirming his status as one of the most prominent foreign names that quickly left their mark within the Emirati team.
The Moroccan player has gained a special status within the club, thanks to his decisive offensive contributions and remarkable performances in big matches; he has managed, in a relatively short period, to get close to prominent names associated with Al Ain's history and its local and continental achievements.
Rahimi has also made a strong continental presence, playing a pivotal role in Al Ain's victory in the AFC Champions League for the 2023-2024 season, where he was crowned the tournament's top scorer with 13 goals, in addition to winning the Best Player award in the competition, an achievement that enhanced his technical value within the team.
Rahimi is only seven goals away from sixth place, currently held by Salem Joher with 53 goals, while Togolese Laba Kodjo, the former top scorer of RS Berkane, continues to lead the club's all-time list with 141 goals.
