Hassania Agadir protests against the refereeing.
The Hassania Agadir club issued an official statement expressing its astonishment and dissatisfaction with the refereeing decisions witnessed during its match against the Royal Army, in the 20th round of the "Inwi" professional league, considering that they directly affected the course of the match and its final result.
The Souss team clarified that it had contacted the Royal Moroccan Football Federation regarding what it described as "influential refereeing blunders," sending a copy of its protest letter to the National Professional Football League and the National Refereeing Directorate. The statement indicated that the club's management recorded several controversial refereeing incidents, the most notable being the foul called against player Kapral Yoklides in the 37th minute, for which he received a yellow card, a moment that led to the opponent's second goal, in addition to what the team considered "the repeated calling of non-existent fouls" against its players throughout the match.
Hassania also protested the penalty awarded by the referee in the final seconds, describing it as "imaginary," considering that it granted the winning points to the opposing team and caused significant dissatisfaction within the club's components.
The Agadir team confirmed in its statement its trust in the institutions overseeing national football, calling on the National Refereeing Directorate to conduct an urgent investigation and evaluate the refereeing performance to ensure equal opportunities among clubs and protect the integrity of the competition.
Hassania Agadir concluded its statement by affirming its full right to defend its interests through all available legal channels, while adhering to the values of sportsmanship and fair competition.
