Olympic Safi condemns Bannon's statements.

The Olympic Safi Club expressed its condemnation of what it described as the "irresponsible behavior" of Raja Casablanca player Badr Bannon following the end of the derby match against Wydad Casablanca, as part of the twentieth round of the professional league.

The club stated in an official statement that the player used "provocative and disgraceful" phrases that were considered to belittle and diminish the value of Olympic Safi, in front of several players, officials, and media representatives at the entrance to the changing rooms.

Olympic Safi considered that what was said by Badr Bannon "does not align with the values of respect and sportsmanship," adding that the matter goes beyond "a mere fleeting outburst" to behavior that affects the club's image and history within the national football arena.

The Safi club confirmed its rejection of any insult that affects its "status and dignity," emphasizing the need to respect various national sports institutions, especially in light of the relationships that bind Moroccan clubs.

Olympic Safi also called on the National Professional Football League to open an investigation into the incident and take what it described as "necessary disciplinary measures," considering that such behaviors tarnish the image of national football and fuel tensions.
