Hakimi is close to returning to the pitch.
A sense of optimism prevails within Paris Saint-Germain regarding the readiness of Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi, as he approaches a return to the field ahead of the anticipated Champions League final on May 30 at the "Puskás Aréna" in the Hungarian capital, Budapest.
The French newspaper "RMC" reported that Hakimi is not suffering from a concerning injury, noting that the medical staff of the Parisian club prefers to handle his physical condition with caution, in order to ensure he is ideally prepared for the crucial European match.
The same source added that Paris Saint-Germain is adopting a precautionary policy with several of its players during this period, to avoid fatigue or any potential setbacks, especially after the long season the team has experienced on both domestic and continental levels.
The French newspaper also indicated that Russian goalkeeper Matvei Safonov is undergoing medical monitoring and a special program, after feeling some pain, although this has not raised significant concerns within the French club.
Hakimi missed the second leg of the Champions League against Bayern Munich due to the injury he sustained in the first leg.
Hakimi is considered one of the key pillars of Paris Saint-Germain this season, as he continues to deliver strong performances both in Ligue 1 and the Champions League, confirming his significant value within the tactical system of coach Luis Enrique.
