The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has unveiled the schedule for the semi-final matches of the Women's Throne Cup for the 2024-2025 sports season, with the two matches set to take place on Wednesday, May 13, at 5 PM.
The first match will be held at Ahmed Askour Stadium in Agadir, featuring a clash between the Municipal Club of Laayoune and RS Berkane. Meanwhile, the municipal stadium in Mansouria will host an exciting encounter between the ladies of the Royal Army and their counterparts from Raja Club Athletic, with both sides aiming to secure a spot in the final.
These decisive matches reflect the qualitative leap that women's football is experiencing in the kingdom. The federation has adopted a direct elimination system through penalty shootouts in the event of a tie at the end of regular time, to ensure the identification of the finalists on the same evening.
