Al-Nafati will miss the "Casablanca Derby."
It has been officially confirmed that Adam Nefati, the striker for Raja Casablanca football club, will miss the "derby" match against Wydad Casablanca, scheduled for Saturday, as part of the 20th round of the professional league, due to an injury he sustained in the recent match against Maghreb Fes.
Informed sources confirmed to "Hesport" that the medical examinations Nefati underwent revealed that he needs a rest period ranging from 10 to 15 days, which will also prevent him from participating in the match against Chabab Al-Massira in the Round of 16 of the Throne Cup for the 2024-2025 sports season.
The same sources emphasized that the medical staff of Raja prefers not to take risks with the player, in order to prepare him fully for his return in the match against Renaissance Berkane, scheduled to take place in the 22nd round of the professional league.
The same sources indicated that Mohamed Mkaazi will be present as usual in the "derby" match, after it became clear that the yellow card he received against Maghreb Fes was his third and not his fourth, meaning he will not face a suspension penalty.
The sources highlighted that Raja will enter the match almost at full strength, after recovering the services of Saber Bougrine and Senegalese Baba Sakho, with the only confirmed absence being Adam Nefati.
It is worth noting that the "derby" match will take place on Saturday, starting at 8 PM, at the Mohammed V Sports Complex, in a football summit that promises a lot between the traditional rivals.
