Classification of "Black" and "Lionesses" futsal
The International Football Federation issued the new global ranking for futsal teams, both male and female, today, Friday.
At the male level, the Moroccan national futsal team maintained its sixth position globally, with a score of 1486.53 points, after adding 5.27 points compared to the last ranking issued by the International Football Federation.
This progress came after winning its last two friendly matches, where it defeated the Cape Verde team with a score of seven goals to one, and the Libyan team with a score of six goals to none.
Globally, the Brazilian team continued to lead the ranking, followed by Portugal and Spain.
In Africa, the national futsal team maintained its position at the top of the African teams, ahead of:
• The Egyptian team, ranked 40th globally;
• The Libyan team, ranked 53rd globally;
• The Angolan team, ranked 54th globally;
• The South African team, ranked 64th globally;
• The Equatorial Guinea team, ranked 65th globally.
Arabically, the Moroccan team continued to lead the Arab teams, followed by:
• Iraq (24th globally);
• Saudi Arabia (41st globally);
• Kuwait (43rd globally);
Regarding the women's ranking, the Moroccan national futsal team ranked 24th globally with a score of 1001.4 points, maintaining the same position compared to the last ranking.
The national women's team also continued to lead the African teams, ahead of:
• Tanzania (74th globally);
• Senegal (82nd globally);
• Cameroon (84th globally);
• Angola (85th globally).
At the Arab level, the Moroccan women's futsal team maintained its first position in the Arab rankings, ahead of:
• Palestine (31st globally);
