Benshrifah praises the discipline of Wydad players.

Mohamed Bencherifa, the coach of Wydad Athletic Club, praised the efforts of his players following their victory over the Meknes club with a score of two goals to none, in the match that brought the two sides together in the 19th round of the professional league on Wednesday, confirming that the circumstances the team went through were not easy, given the significant pressure that accompanied the phase.

Bencherifa stated during the press conference that followed the match that the players deserved praise for what they presented on the field, adding that the pressure had been strong since he took on the responsibility of leading the team. He clarified that he did not hesitate to accept the task when he was contacted, considering himself a "son of the club," and aware of the magnitude of the responsibility and the difficulty of the phase, especially since the team needed the combined efforts of all its components.

Bencherifa pointed out that the limited time did not allow him to make many changes, emphasizing that his focus was on sending clear messages to the players, which reflected on the discipline of the group and their spirit on the field.

The Wydad coach confirmed that the human composition of the team includes players "of great caliber," praising their ability to quickly adapt to the demands of the phase and respond to technical instructions.

On the other hand, Aziz Dniibi, the coach of the Meknes club, considered that the match had two different faces, noting that his team did not enter the match as required during the first half.

Dniibi explained that his players made mistakes that cost them dearly, considering that they "gave a gift" to Wydad at the beginning of the match, which complicated their task of coming back in the score. He added that his team appeared in a different light during the second half, where they managed to impose their rhythm and create several scoring opportunities, but the lack of offensive effectiveness prevented them from converting these chances into goals.

Dniibi emphasized that the team suffers from a clear deficiency in the final touch, highlighting that the Meknes club needs a pure striker capable of exploiting available opportunities.

The "Kodim" coach praised the efforts of his players, considering that they delivered a great match against a team of Wydad Athletic Club's stature, despite the defeat, confirming that work will continue to improve results in the upcoming rounds.
