Enrique: The absent Hakimi supports the team.
Spanish coach Luis Enrique of Paris Saint-Germain announced that Moroccan star Achraf Hakimi, despite his injury and absence from the match against Bayern Munich, will be present with the team to support his teammates.
Enrique said at the press conference for the Bayern Munich match in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday that Hakimi (along with other players like Chevalier and Ndjenganto) was the one who requested to accompany the team.
He added: "They requested to be present. For us, this shows the quality of the players we have. They will be here to support the team and try to experience this match with us."
Achraf Hakimi is considered one of the key pillars within Paris Saint-Germain, as the coaching staff relies heavily on him due to his high speed and ability to make a difference both offensively and defensively, along with his experience in major matches, making him an indispensable element in the team's lineup.
Enrique considered that Hakimi's presence despite the injury reflects his team spirit and strong commitment to the team, which is a positive indicator of the group's cohesion before a crucial match.
