Wydad Athletic Club continues to "bleed points" with a loss to Nahda Zemamra.
The Wydad team continued its series of negative results, suffering a new loss this Sunday evening against Nahdat Zemamra with a score of one goal to nil, in the 18th round of the professional league, held at Ahmed Shukri Stadium in the city of Zemamra.
Both teams appeared lackluster in the first half, with no serious attempts recorded from either side, and the chances remained modest without posing a real threat, ending the first period without goals.
In the second half, the performance improved somewhat, and Wydad tried to create opportunities to score the opening goal, but the team's attacking line did not pose a clear danger to goalkeeper Marwan Fakhr's net.
For its part, Nahdat Zemamra attempted to take the initiative in attack, relying on counterattacks and set pieces, before benefiting from one of them by scoring a goal through Reda Ait Bougheima in the 70th minute of the match.
Everyone was waiting for Wydad to awaken in search of an equalizer to avoid a second consecutive loss, and the national coach Mohamed Benchrifa made some changes in the attacking line, but the attempts failed, ending the match with Nahdat Zemamra winning by a single goal.
With this result, Wydad's points total remains at 31 in fourth place, while Zemamra rose to tenth place with 19 points.
