Impose strict regulations on the rulers.
The National Directorate of Refereeing, affiliated with the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, issued a circular directed at referees of various levels, containing strict instructions aimed at enhancing discipline and reinforcing the principles of professionalism within the "system of match officials," in order to ensure respect for the regulatory standards in place during matches.
The Directorate, under the supervision of the National Technical Director of Refereeing, Ridouane Jaid, decided to prohibit referees from bringing any accompanying person during their assignment to officiate matches, whether to the pitch or to the changing rooms, in a move aimed at adding more privacy and professionalism to the refereeing team's environment.
The memorandum also stipulated that referees not assigned to the match are prohibited from entering the changing rooms of their colleagues under any pretext, including greeting them, emphasizing that any violation of these directives will be considered a "serious offense" that necessitates taking the necessary disciplinary actions according to the applicable legal procedures.
These decisions, which took effect immediately upon issuance, aim to establish principles of integrity and transparency and to protect the image of national refereeing, as the Directorate called on all technical directors and heads of regional leagues to ensure the strict implementation of these instructions to avoid any disruption to the referees' performance.
