The fans protest against the refereeing and the violence.
The Raja Club Athletic sent a strongly worded protest letter to the National Refereeing Directorate, accompanied by precise data regarding what it considered unjust refereeing decisions during its match against the Royal Army in round 17.
The "green" club clarified that this letter is the third of its kind this season, expressing its astonishment at not receiving any official responses to its previous protests that affect the principle of equal opportunities.
The protest included significant refereeing cases, most notably the retraction of a penalty awarded to Raja, the counting of a goal for the Royal Army from a questionable offside situation, in addition to the cancellation of a legitimate goal for Raja without adhering to the "VAR" protocol.
The club demanded access to the audio recordings from the "VAR" room and the official images to ensure transparency, along with an urgent investigation into these incidents to preserve the integrity of the professional league.
On another note, Raja Club Athletic strongly condemned the acts of violence and mistreatment that its fans faced in the vicinity of the stadium and during travel stages.
The club affirmed its full solidarity with the injured supporters, while emphasizing its respect for football institutions and its constant commitment to protecting the image of national football and the principles of fair competition.
