The “Atlas Lionesses” face the Congo national team
The draw for the African qualifiers for the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Olympics, which was held today, Wednesday, in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, resulted in the women’s national team facing its counterpart, the Congolese national team, in the second round of eliminations.

It is noteworthy that Morocco will host the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations finals from July 25 to August 16, 2026, where the “Lionesses” were drawn in the first group alongside Algeria, Senegal and Kenya.
