Raja opens the second half of the professional league with a four-goal win against Al-Fateh
Raja Sports Club defeated Al-Fateh Sports Club by four goals to one, today, Sunday, on the floor of the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca, for the 16th round of the professional football league.
Since the whistle of referee Hicham Temsmani, Raja Athletic has put pressure on FUS Rabat in order to score an early goal that facilitates the mission of the “Green” team, which came through Adam El-Nafati in the 13th minute, with a shot that did not leave any luck to goalkeeper Ayoub Lakrad, giving the “Eagles” the lead.
In the 41st minute, Senegalese Pape Ousmane Sakho was able to double the score for Raja, ending the first half with “Al-Akhdar” beating Al-Fateh by two unanswered goals.
In the second half, Raja continued to control the match, scoring the third goal with friendly fire, via an own goal from Al-Fateh player Hadifa Al-Mahsani in the 58th minute.
In the 64th minute, Anas Sargat scored a wonderful goal for Al-Fateh, reducing the score for the Rabat team.
In the 77th minute, Jordanian Muhammad Faisal Abu Zureiq, nicknamed “Sharara,” deepened Al-Fateh’s wounds with a wonderful goal.
In the 91st minute, the Tasmanian referee gave a red card to player Shoaib Faidi, after interfering with Ismail Khafi.
With this victory, Raja Athletic Club raised its score to 33 points in second place, while FUS Rabat's score froze at 18 points in eighth place.
