Maghreb Fez extends the series of positive results... and puts pressure on the Royal Army
The Maghreb Fez football team continued its series of strong performances in the professional championship competitions after adding Renaissance Athletic Club Zamamara to its list of victims.
The “Fasian team” defeated its host “Doukkali” by two goals to one, in a match hosted by the Martyr Ahmed Choukri Stadium in Zamamra, for the 16th round of the championship competitions.
The first goal was scored by the brilliant Sofiane Benjedida in the 32nd minute of the match, while the second goal came in the 73rd minute by the player Suleiman Alloush.
The only goal for the Doukkali team was scored by Mohamed Al-Faqih from the penalty spot in the 90th + 3rd minute.
It is worth noting that Nahdet Zamamra completed the match with ten players, after the red card was shown by the match referee in the face of its star, Yazid Fafa.
“Al-Mas” temporarily topped the Moroccan league standings with 34 points, 3 points ahead of the chasing Royal Army, while “Al-Zamamra”’s score froze at 16 points.
