“Open Volleyball” qualifies in Rwanda

Al-Fateh Sports Volleyball Club qualified for the second round (knockout) of the African Club Championship (men), which Rwanda will host from April 22 to next May 3, after its victory today, Sunday, over the Ethiopian Welayta Club by three games to zero.

The Moroccan club won the first half with a score of 25-22, and continued its dominance in the second and third halves, winning them with scores of 25-12 and 25-23.

With this victory, Al-Fateh Sports Club raised its score to 9 points in second place, behind the Rwandan Police, who led the third group with 12 points.

This continental event includes the participation of 24 teams divided into four groups, while the champion of the competition will represent the continent in the next world championship.
