The managerial office of the Kawkab Marrakech Football Club announced, via a statement, the closing of the file of the recent events witnessed by the team, following a meeting of the Ethics Committee, where the dispute that occurred between the club’s president, Idris Hanifa, and the coach, Hisham Al-Dumaie, was settled.
The club explained that this meeting falls within the framework of “the managerial office’s keenness on the stability of the team and the cohesion of its components,” as “the recent events were discussed responsibly,” before a final decision was reached to close the file.
The report indicated that the club president “showed great wisdom in managing this file,” which contributed to “clarifying all the circumstances and returning the atmosphere to normal” within the team.
In the same context, the document revealed that the coach took the initiative to “present a personal and frank apology to the club president,” expressing his regret for what he said, and emphasizing “the depth of respect and the strength of the relationship based on mutual trust” between the two parties.
The club president appreciated this initiative, reiterating “the strength of the relationship between him and the coach,” within a framework of harmony and joint work in the interest of the team.
At the conclusion of its statement, the club confirmed that it had been decided to “close this file once and for all,” emphasizing that “discipline and respect for the club’s institutions remain above all considerations,” highlighting that “the strength of the team is in its unity,” and calling on its fans to continue supporting and rallying around the club to achieve the desired goals.
