Jalal Jaid officiates the match between El Gaish and Berkane
Today, Tuesday, the Technical Directorate of Arbitration revealed the refereeing team that will lead the postponed confrontation between the Royal Army and RS Berkane, tomorrow, Wednesday, on the grounds of Prince Moulay Abdullah Stadium in Rabat, as part of the 12th stage of the Moroccan Professional Football League Championship.
International referee Jalal Gayed will manage this summit as a field referee, with the assistance of Mustafa Akarkad as first assistant, and Rayhan Ashraf as second assistant, while Muhammad Al-Baroudi has been appointed as referee for video technology (VAR), with the assistance of Abdel Samad Abberton.
It is worth noting that the Royal Army is in second place with 30 points from 14 matches, one point behind Moghreb Fes (the leaders), who have played 15 matches, while RS Berkane (the defending champion) is in fifth place with 26 points from 14 matches.
This anticipated match comes a few days after the Royal Army qualified for the final of the African Champions League, following its 2-1 victory over RS Berkane in the aggregate of the two-legged matches in the semi-finals of the competition.
