Surgery takes Moden away from Safi
“Hesport” learned from informed sources that Olympique Safi will miss the services of midfielder Sofiane El Mouden in today’s match, Sunday, against USM Algiers, for the second leg of the African Confederation Cup semi-final.
The same sources indicated, in statements to “Hesport”, that Al-Moudin had suffered from “sciatica” for some time, before his condition worsened in the past few days, which required him to be presented to the medical staff, who decided to subject him to surgery that he performed the day before yesterday, and it was successful, making him the most prominent absent from the “Shark of Misfiwi” in today’s confrontation.
The same source added that Sufyan Al-Moudin is currently undergoing a recovery period, and will resume his normal sporting activity after passing the recovery stage.
It is worth noting that the match between Olympique Safi and USM Algiers, in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final, will take place today at eight o’clock in the evening, on the field of Al-Masirah Stadium in the city of Safi, noting that the first leg ended in a goalless draw.
