Bayern eliminates Real Madrid from the Champions League
Bayern Munich, Germany, snatched the ticket to qualify for the semi-finals of the Champions League, after renewing its victory over Real Madrid, Spain, with a score of 4-3, this evening, Wednesday, in the second leg of the quarter-finals, setting up a date with defending champion Paris Saint-Germain of France.
Colombian Luis Diaz scored the equalizer (3-3) in the 89th minute, which was enough to qualify after the Bavarian team won the first leg (2-1) in Madrid, before Frenchman Michael Oliset settled the confrontation (90+4), after they were preceded by Englishman Harry Kane (38) and Alexander Pavlovic (6). On the other hand, Real Madrid scored through Turkish Arda Guler (1 and 29) and Frenchman Kylian Mbappe (42).
The match witnessed two expulsions among the royal team, as Frenchman Eduardo Camavinga (86) and Guller (90 + 5) left, in an exciting match that Bayern decided in the last moments to continue their European journey towards the final.
