Barrada is nominated for an award in London
Moroccan Omar Berrada, CEO of Manchester United, has entered the nominations circle to receive the “Lord Herman Ouseley Leaders” International Award.
This award is given to the most prominent administrative competencies who have left a clear mark in the development of governance within football, within the “Football Black List” ceremony that will be held in the British capital, London.
Berrada is considered one of the most prominent Moroccan names in the global sports management pyramid, as he plays a pivotal role in drawing up United’s administrative strategies.
This nomination comes after a long career spent in Manchester City before moving to the red side of the city, which reflects the growing value of Moroccan executives within the largest international football institutions.
This version of the award bears a historical symbol, after its name was changed in honor of the late Lord Hermann Ouseley, founder of the Kick It Out organization. Berrada’s presence on the list of candidates represents recognition of his effective contribution to establishing the values of diversity and administrative development.
