Report: Al-Aynaoui attracts Barça and Real Madrid
Media reports revealed that Moroccan international Nael El Aynaoui has entered the circle of interest of major European clubs, led by Barcelona and Real Madrid, despite his difficult situation this season with Roma.
According to what was reported by the “Les-Transferts” website, the Moroccan midfielder, who moved to Roma last summer from Lens, did not succeed in imposing himself regularly within coach Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad, as he suffers from a lack of playing minutes, which opened the door to speculation about the possibility of his departure in the next Mercato.
Despite this situation, Al-Aynaoui is still highly regarded thanks to his technical qualifications, as the same data indicate that the two Spanish clubs are closely monitoring his situation, preparing to move if the player decides to change the atmosphere, especially since he is considered one of the promising names in his position.
The player has a contract with Roma that extends until 2030, which gives the club’s management an advantage in controlling his future. However, his expected participation with the Moroccan national team in the 2026 World Cup may constitute a decisive turning point, whether by strengthening his position within the team or opening the doors to a new transfer to one of the continent’s greats.
The 24-year-old played 29 matches this season in various competitions with Roma, during which he scored only one goal.
Al-Aynaoui's future remains open to all possibilities, between continuing to prove himself within the “Giallorossi” or embarking on a new experience that might lead him to one of the “La Liga” giants.
