Another draw for Betis despite El Zalzouli's goal
Real Betis continued to drop points despite Moroccan international Abdel Samad Zalzouli opening the scoring in the 1-1 draw against host Osasuna on Sunday, in the thirty-first stage of the Spanish Football League.
Zalzouli opened the scoring for the visiting team (7), and the home team equalized before the end of the first half thanks to Croatian Ante Budimir (40 from a penalty kick).
Real Betis failed to score three points for the seventh consecutive match in a series in which they achieved 5 draws versus two losses, noting that their last victory dates back to the twenty-fourth stage, when they beat Mallorca 2-1.
Betis, who fell into the draw trap for the second match in a row, raised his score to 46 points in fifth place, and is threatened with losing his position if Celta Vigo wins sixth, by two points, over its guest, Real Oviedo, at a later time.
On the other hand, Osasuna achieved a draw for the 12th time this season, raising its score to 39 points in ninth place.
Later, Real Mallorca will also play against Rayo Vallecano, and Athletic Bilbao will play against Villarreal.
The competitions will conclude on Monday with Levante meeting Getafe.
