Al-Hidawi resolves the controversy of Algerian Farhani

Mohamed El Hidaoui, president of Olympique Safi Club, appeared on his official Facebook account to evaluate the result of his team’s draw against USM Algiers in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final.

Al-Hidawi reassured the supporters that the ticket to the final is still within reach, before the expected decisive match in the city of Safi.

The club president sent a direct invitation to the Misfiyya fans to fill the stands and support the players with full force, highlighting that reaching the continental final requires the combined efforts of everyone from the management office, crew, players and fans.

In another context, Al-Hidawi ended the controversy that accompanied Algerian player Houari Farhani, due to his delay in wearing the match shirt at the beginning.

He explained that the reason was due to an internal technical defect, which was addressed in the second half, stressing that the player is fully committed to the team and appreciates Morocco as his second country, and that there is no prior intention not to carry the shirt.
