The “Lions” face Norway and El Salvador
Hesport learned from informed sources that the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has decided to schedule two friendly matches for the Moroccan national team, against Norway and El Salvador, in preparation for the 2026 World Cup finals.
The same sources indicated that the university reached an agreement with its Norwegian and Salvadoran counterparts regarding the details of the two confrontations, awaiting the official signing of the contracts before announcing their dates and place of residence.
The university, in coordination with the technical staff of the national team, seeks to provide the best preparation conditions during the decisive stage preceding the World Cup, with a focus on testing the readiness of the players by facing teams that adopt playing styles close to those that the “Atlas Lions” will face in the finals.
It is noteworthy that the draw for the 2026 World Cup placed the Moroccan team in the third group, along with the teams of Brazil, Scotland, and Haiti.
