“Tas” resolves the dispute between Mustafa and Safi
A private source reported to the newspaper “Hasport” that the International Sports Court (TAS) issued its final ruling in the dispute that brought together Egyptian coach Tarek Mostafa with Olympique Safi, as it ruled to oblige the club to pay the outstanding financial dues to the coach, in addition to the bonuses stipulated in the contract, while bearing the arbitration expenses.
According to the data obtained by Hesport, the file went through a legal process that extended for more than three years, passing through the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) and its dispute resolution chamber, before it was presented to TASS, which issued its final decision in the case.
The same source indicated that the ruling was based on legal and regulatory requirements related to the implementation of contracts within professional football, while emphasizing the need to respect contractual obligations between the parties, in accordance with the regulations in force at “FIFA” and the jurisprudence approved at “TAS.”
It is expected that this decision will put an end to the existing dispute between the two parties, pending the initiation of procedures related to its implementation, in accordance with the legal procedures applicable in such files within the international football system.
