“Karati Morocco” competes in “Leshan”
The Moroccan national karate team will participate in the World International League, which will be held in Leshan, China, during the period from 9 to 12 April.
A statement from the Royal Moroccan Federation of Karate and Joint Methods stated that this tournament is the third leg in a series of major international competitions classified by the International Karate Federation, within the framework of the “First League” World League approved in the World Classification of Champions.
The same source added that this participation also represents an important step in the program to prepare the Moroccan national team, with the aim of strengthening its presence on the international scene and enabling the Moroccan champions to compete with an elite group of the most prominent world champions in the sport of karate.
The national karate team includes Shaima Al-Haiti (under 55 kg), Nisreen Brook (under 68 kg), as well as Mehdi Sariti (under 84 kg), Saeed Obaya (under 67 kg), and Hamza Sam (under 75 kg) in the adult category.
