Al-Sibari regains his smile after frustration
Moroccan international Ismail Sibari expressed his complete satisfaction with his performance, after he led his team, PSV Eindhoven, to an exciting victory over FC Utrecht, with a score of (4-3), in the Dutch Premier League, scoring two decisive goals in the match.
Al-Sibari said in statements reported by the Dutch channel ESPN: "Yes, things went well and I am happy about that, but we should not concede three goals. We lost our focus in some moments and Utrecht took advantage of that well." He added: "I think my first goal was the most beautiful. I have great harmony with Gus Till. We understand each other well, and this is normal after four years of playing together."
The Moroccan international confirmed that the past period was not easy for him, noting that he suffered from some frustration on the field. He said: “I was really a little upset, and I spoke to the coach about it, and he told me: ‘Just have fun and play your way, and things will come naturally.’” He continued: “It was a combination of several factors. We lost some matches, and the referees made mistakes, so I moved from one frustration to another. Now I am smiling again, and this is better for everyone, especially for me.”
Al-Sibari scored the goal to reduce the difference in the 21st minute, before returning at the beginning of the second half to score the equalizer in the 48th minute, paving the way for his team to return to the result, while Suhaib Dariush gave the fatal victory in stoppage time.
It is worth noting that this victory raised PSV's score to 71 points at the top of the standings, bringing it a big step closer to winning its twenty-seventh title, in light of the remarkable brilliance of its stars, led by the two Moroccan players who left their mark on a big match that confirmed their strong presence in one of the most prominent stations of the season.
