The Jordanian national team draws with Nigeria
The Jordanian national football team tied, Tuesday evening, with its Nigerian counterpart, 2-2, in a friendly match that brought them together within the training camp held in the Turkish city of Antalya, as part of preparations for the first participation in the 2026 World Cup finals.
The Jordanian team opened the scoring through Musa Al-Taamari in the 17th minute, before the Nigerian team equalized through Moses Simon (25th minute), and Emmanuel Fernandez added the second goal (41st minute), ending the first half with Nigeria leading.
In the second half, Mohamed Ratib succeeded in bringing the Nashama team back into the atmosphere of the match, scoring the equalizing goal in the 77th minute, so that the match ended in a positive draw 2-2.
With this result, the Jordanian national team, coached by Moroccan Jamal Al-Salami, will conclude its training camp in Tรผrkiye, as part of its preparations for the upcoming 2026 World Cup finals.
