Moroccan glow in "Emirates Warriors"
Moroccan champion,
Allawi decided the confrontation in his favor in the second round by submission, thus continuing his control over the bantamweight division, confirming his right to the title that he had previously won three times in the tournament organized by the “Palms Sports” company.
The Moroccan champion was crowned by Fouad Darwish, CEO of Palms Sports and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, in a festive atmosphere that reflected the success of the event.
In the main joint fight, the Moroccan Badr Atef was able to achieve victory over the Egyptian Maysara Mohamed by the judges’ decision in the 59-kilogram weight category, after an equal confrontation, while the victory in the heavyweight category went to the Iraqi Ahmed Al-Rubaie at the expense of the Tunisian Salah Trabelsi, also by the judges’ decision.
It is worth noting that Allawi, in a statement after the coronation, expressed his happiness at maintaining the title, praising the atmosphere provided by the city of Al Ain, whether inside or outside the hall, which helped him give his best.
The same spokesman added that he visited the Emirates last week via Dubai, which he described as one of the best sports destinations in the world, due to the advanced infrastructure it provides and a safe atmosphere, noting that the city of Al Ain, in turn, was a source of inspiration for achieving this achievement.
For his part, Fouad Darwish confirmed that the “Emirates Warriors” tournament succeeded in winning the challenge in Al Ain, despite the rainy weather conditions, thanks to the professional organization and strong public presence.
Darwish stressed that the continued organization of these demonstrations with such momentum strengthens Abu Dhabi’s position as the global capital of mixed martial arts sports, and its ability to host the largest tournaments in various circumstances.
