CAF sets the date for the Berkane and army summit
The Confederation of African Football has officially decided the dates for the exclusive Moroccan summit between the teams of RS Berkane and the Royal Army. This is within the framework of the African Champions League semi-finals.
The municipal stadium in Berkane is scheduled to host the first leg on April 11, with the deciding return match taking place on the 18th of the same month in the capital, Rabat, to determine the identity of the qualifier to the โfinal scene.โ
Nahdet Berkane qualified for this round after its victory over the Sudanese team Al Hilal with a clean goal, in a match played at the โAmahoroโ Stadium in Rwanda. While the first leg, which was played in Berkane, resulted in a 1-1 draw.
On the other hand, the Royal Army succeeded in booking the pass after eliminating the defending champion Pyramids of Egypt, benefiting from its victory in the return leg by two goals to one, after the first leg ended in a positive 1-1 draw.
