"Atlas Lions" raise the level of preparations
The Moroccan national team continues its preparations for the two upcoming friendly matches against the Ecuador and Paraguay national teams, by participating in two training sessions within the second day of the “Lions” preparatory camp at the Mohammed VI Football Center in Maamoura.
The technical team, led by national voter Mohamed Wehbe, programmed a first session at midday, during which it focused on the physical aspects with the aim of maintaining the players’ readiness, while working at the same time on developing harmony within the group, in an atmosphere characterized by seriousness and discipline.
During the evening session, the pace of work increased, as more emphasis was placed on the tactical aspect through practical exercises and mini-matches, with the aim of testing some technical options before the upcoming matches.
The training witnessed the presence of five members of the national team for under 23 years, with the aim of expanding the base of choices and enhancing competition within the group, in addition to giving additional dynamism to the training sessions.
The two sessions included the participation of all the invited players, in conditions described as “positive,” reflecting the good atmosphere that prevails in the “Atlas Lions” camp, according to a statement from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.
