Mohamed Salah announces his departure from Liverpool

Mohamed Salah, captain of the Egyptian national team and Liverpool star, announced his departure from the team at the end of the current season, after nine seasons in the English team’s shirt.

Salah said in a video on his official social media accounts today, Tuesday, “The time has come to announce a decision to leave Liverpool at the end of the current season.”

The captain of the Egyptian national team (the Pharaohs) added, “I would like to thank the club, its fans, and the city as well. They have become a part of my life. Liverpool is more than just a club, but rather history, spirit, successes, and many things that words cannot describe.”

He continued, “I thank all the club officials and everyone I dealt with at Liverpool.”
