Harimat: Proud to wear the national team’s shirt
Mohamed Rabie Harimat, captain of the Royal Army football team, expressed great joy after joining the ranks of the “Atlas Lions” for the first time. This is within the framework of preparations for the two upcoming friendly confrontations against Ecuador and Paraguay, scheduled to take place on the twenty-seventh and thirty-first of this month of March.
Harimat stated, in an interview on the official website of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, saying: “I feel very proud and proud after being called up to carry the national team’s jersey. Since my childhood, I have aspired to reach this moment...and today I can say that my dream has become a reality.”
The “Al-Asaker” commander went on to talk about the moment he received the news: “I learned of the news of my joining the national group while I was with my team, the Royal Army, in the Egyptian capital, Cairo; a moment that filled me and my family with indescribable happiness. I have every hope that I will live up to expectations and make the desired addition alongside this elite group of brilliant players.”
Harimat concluded his statement by praising the group's spirit, pointing out that "the atmosphere inside the camp is very excellent, and I received a warm reception from my colleagues who did not hesitate to welcome me as a member of the family; this reflects their high morals. And since we as players have good relations and know each other already, the issue of harmony within the group is going very smoothly."
